Altor Virtual Firewall

Virtual Machines create unique virtual environments and present their own unique challenges. Segregating virtual environments often requires hugely inelegant solutions utilizing physical routers and firewalls and works at odds with the unique advantages of the virtual environment. In addition, communication between virtual machines is almost entirely obscured from view.

Altor Networks’ Altor Virtual Firewall provides solutions to both these problems. First of all creating teams of virtual firewalls controlling the communication between virtual machine - even within the same ESX(i) Server, and the outside world while also allowing the use of flexible technologies like VMotion.

Secondly it provides data on the all virtual traffic allowing a network supervisor unprecedented access to what’s going on in a virtual data centre.
