Sparx Systems develops visual modelling software tools based on UML (Unified Modelling Language). Sparx is a member of the Object Management Group (OMG) and is committed to model-driven open systems development of software. Sparx Enterprise Architect product is in use with over 100s of 1000s of users globally in government, defence, banking and finance and telecommunications industries.

In June 2010, Sparx won the Tools and Frameworks category in the SD Times Awards.
